Turf Hawg is running a $50 weekly fall leaf maintenance special.
What does this include?
Ever since we moved into our first home in 2008, I wanted that lush green yard that I seen around town. That is when I started to do research on what was needed to achieve that look. I tried the first summer with just weed control and fertilizers to help knock down some of the abundance of weeds. By the end of summer, I made a good amount of progress on weed control and thickening up the grass in most of the yard except where a Maple tree's shade covered. Over the winter months, I did some more research on different types of grass and decided to do a full sod transformation to combat the lack of sun in that area. With that overhaul my lush lawn, the love and challenge of transforming yards into that picture perfect image was born. Over the next few years I would perfect my yard by maintaining a good water, weed, fertilization and mowing schedule. Then in 2016, my focus switched to our new home build and my new lawn project. It was the winter months when we moved in so not much lawn care could be done due to the lack of sod so all my attention was directed to the flowerbed set up and walk ways. When the temperature turned warmer, sod was layed and I begin with the same program from our old residence. Over the summer, our neighbors started to take notice and shortly after, the questions on how and what are you doing. It made me feel great to share the knowledge that I have gained over the past 8 years and be able to help my neighbors with their lawn needs as the people they were using were not giving the lawncare the attention they needed. During that summer, I helped cut a few yards here and there and begin to look in to the idea of starting my own lawncare service and then, enter the Covid years. Just like everyone else, Covid changed the way we did things for a little bit and I put my idea on hold for a few years. By putting the idea on hold, I was able to do more research on my areas needs and really focus on what I wanted my business plan to be and what offerings I wanted to provide to my clients. In 2022, Turf Hawg was finally born. Turf Hawg was founded just outside the Little Rock metroplex area and was founded on the premise that quality, convenience and attention to the details do not have to be sacrificed when you provide value.
We strongly believe in the fact that good people, know good people and we understand that in order to maintain that belief, we have to be obsessed with delivering a service that we do on our own turf. If we fall short on that promise, we make it right because that is what being a good neighbor is all about.
