Most people believe that lawn care is just the the routine mowing of a yard and we all wish it was that easy.  Unfortunately, it is not.  Lucky for you, there is Turf Hawg.   Turf Hawg is ready to help take your yard to next level with our 10 layer annual treatments that are tailored to the seasonal conditions.  

What to expect

Our 10 layers of protection start at the beginning of the year around the 1st of February.   The first application will be a mix of a pre emergent and post emergent herbicide that will take care of any weeds that have sprouted and ones that are about to sprout from seed.  During this application we will also be applying nutrients to help the grass get a jump start into the spring season.  In April, we will spot treat any areas that the first application did not take care of.  It is important that we do this to ensure that the weeds do not develop resistance to the herbicide application.   Since we live in humid south, it is recommended that another application of a pre emergent and post emergent application take place between May and June.  During this application, we like to apply nutrients as well to help give your grass that extra pop right before the July 4th celebrations.  During the months of July, August and some of September, we will stay away from applying any herbicides to our neighbors yards due to the daily average temperatures being above 90 degrees.   In October - November, we will apply our last application of a pre emergent and post emergent herbicide along with winter nutrients to help put your yard to rest for the winter months.
